Disposable Valve Cassettes and
BioFlash Partner’s Disposable-Format Chromatography ( DFC™) cartridges.
The BioSMB™ system relies on a distributed disposable valve system, in which each column can be connected to any inlet or outlet through individual membrane valves. The use of multiple valves for switching inlets and outlets is a common approach in many standard multicolumn chromatography systems. BioSMB™ technology, however, is unique in its disposable design for the entire fluid path.
Tarpon Biosystems hold an exclusive license for use of the BioFlash Partner’s DFC cartridges in a multi-column continuous or semi-continuous unit operation. BioFlash DFC cartridges are available in diameters of from 12 mm to 200 mm diameter and in any length.
